A common problem for cyclists everywhere is how to protect their bicycle saddles from moisture and dirt. Unprotected saddles are exposed to rain or snow and no one wants to sit on a wet or dirty saddle. Notice the ugly plastic bags cyclists use to protect their saddles or their clothes.
This is an improvised solution people use all over the world to keep their bike seat dry. It is practical but very ugly and shows no respect for the environment. It takes 50 years for a plastic bag to decompose.
Meanwhile, Seatcap is made from natural latex, which is fully bio-degradable. Natural latex comes from the Para rubber tree originally from South America. This tree grows in the rain forest but it is not logged like the other trees, because of its economic value. This helps to preserve the rain forest and our environment.
Until now many have tried and failed to develop a solution that is effective, inexpensive and aesthetically pleasing. Seatcap is an attractive alternative to shopping bags or the conventional bulky bike seat covers. Designed for off-road saddle protection it will keep the saddle clean and dry. Seatcap was designed with low cost and high volume in mind. Think of it as a semi-disposable point of sale product that a customer may buy on impulse once or twice per season.

Seatcap is only available in black.making it virtually inconspicuous and invisible when mounted. Keep it on your saddle while the bike is parked and stow it under the saddle when riding. Seatcap is tough, yet very elastic. It is much thicker than a party balloon and is specially treated to protect it from UV radiation.

Seatcap fits most saddles up to 10.5" (270 mm) wide. Extra narrow sizes for racing saddles are available for custom orders. Usage Hints
During sub-zero temperatures, below -10 C or 14 F, the cover may freeze. Do not attempt to remove it as this may cause the cover to break. Instead, wait for it to thaw out and regain its flexibility.
Since Seatcap was developed primarily to protect a saddle when not in use, we do not recommend cycling while seated on the cover. For obvious reasons saddles with sharp protruding metal edges are not suitable seats for our product.
Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight will significantly shorten its life expectancy.
